Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:
My dad who was an internist inspired me to follow this path. He not only treated his patients but really developed a relationship with them, as well as their families and that felt like the most nurturing and satisfying careers to choose.
What I want my patients to know about me:
Patients can expect that I will listen to them and their concerns with patience, and will provide them with a compassionate care and that I will a keep my knowledge up to date to provide them with evidence based care in the vicinity of their homes, so they don't have to travel distances.
What I do when I'm not seeing patients:
When I am not seeing patients, I am cooking, cleaning, watching movies, going out to eat with my family, like any other woman would do. But what I love doing is gardening, it makes me happy!

I was surprised but very pleased when Dr. Ahmed brought up an issue after obviously reading my health record. She offered to refer me to an endocrinologist for further evaluation and that is in process. I'm looking forward to having her as my regular gynecologist.

Dr. Ahmed is always very friendly but professional. She remembers me each time the I have an appointment and will ask relevant questions about me and family members. I am always impressed with her ability to remember and be so caring. Her exams are thorough and always asks if I have any problems or concerns in regard to my visit.

I had a very bad OB experience years ago which causes me great anxiety when I go for a GYN appt. Dr. Ahmed is SO gentle with exams & I greatly appreciate that.
