Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:

A career in medicine seemed to meld my interest in biology, a penchant for fixing things (including people), and a desire to provide aid and comfort to others.

I've been practicing pathology for over 50 years in many of the 50 states including Alaska, as well as in Nairobi, Kenya.

I enjoy restoring old cars and my 200-year-old house.
