Dr. Lin is a man of few words but seems knowledgeable and not unkind. He answered my direct questions about my diagnosis (epilepsy) and treatment, but I think I wasn't really informed enough to know what to ask. Since the visit, I've thought of further questions so just sent him a few questions through the portal. I guess I would have liked a little more discussion of the condition, what it means going forward, etc. (I actually came to him due to headaches, which he doesn't think are caused by the epilepsy.)

I had a mixed experience. I tried to explain my concerns and what I was experiencing as clearly as possible, but I felt like I was being interrogated, and that some of my responses were being dismissed because they didn't fit what the provider was looking for. In the end, he still took my concerns seriously and ordered tests for me, but didn't explain why or what the tests may reveal.
