Thank you for your interest in the WellSpan York Hospital Emergency Medicine (EM) Residency Program!
We work hard to ensure a unique EM residency program with:
- expertly trained faculty in multiple specialties
- interest tracks for residents who want to start developing niches early on
- individualized mentorship and medical knowledge improvement program
- an excellent blend of academic and community EM
- subspecialist attendings who are always available for consultation
- little competition between services to learn and perform important ED skills and procedures
You’ll appreciate the supportive atmosphere and family feel of our program. Our residency leadership team is here to support you throughout your three years, and our residents’ camaraderie is palpable.
We’re dedicated to helping everyone achieve proper work-life balance and promote resident wellness. We welcome resident feedback and ideas and use them to take our program to new heights.
