Adaptive Cycling Demonstration Day

Dan Zimmerman, founder of Spokes Fighting Strokes, will share his experience as a stroke survivor and the role recumbent trikes played in his recovery. We will have a variety of cycles on site to show how these cycles can leverage one’s abilities to overcome disability and participants can go for a test ride too. This event is free and open to individuals who are dealing with physical or cognitive challenges. Families and caretakers are welcome to join.

Adaptive Cycling Demonstration Day is presented by WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital, Lancaster Recumbent, and Spokes Fighting Strokes. Light Refreshments will be provided. All abilities welcome! Hand cycles available. Event is rain or shine. Completion of a waiver is required for participation.
