Please note: We recommend registering for this class during or after your fifth month of pregnancy.
This series includes 5 classes which include 3 childbirth preparation classes, a Baby Care and a Breastfeeding 101: The Basics class. All dates for the series are listed to the right. Please do not register for the Baby Care and Breastfeeding 101: The Basics classes, as those classes are included in the cost of the series. The childbirth education classes will cover stages of labor, comfort measures, anesthesia choices, labor interventions, postpartum adjustments, relaxation and breathing techniques and Cesarean delivery.
These classes are fully covered by Medical Assistance health insurance plans: Prepared Childbirth Series, Condensed Childbirth Class, Refresher Class, Online Childbirth Education Bundle. All Medical Assistance insurances cover them. These are the insurance plans given by the state. The WellSpan Financial Assistance Program also covers them.
We provide flexibility in class changes. If you have a specific date conflict, please send an email to childbirthedu@wellspan.org or contact our offices at (717) 851-2241.

Instructions
**Masking requirements could change weekly. Please click on this link for the most up-to-date information. If masks are required, one will be provided for the student. If the student is experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) or have come in contact with someone that has tested positive, please contact our office to reschedule. If you do not receive your Registration Confirmation email, please first check your junk or spam folder. The email will come from norply@wellspan.org. If you are still unable to locate your email, please email childbirthedu@wellspan.org at least 2 business days before your class.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than a week prior to the start of class = full refund. Cancellation less than one week prior to the start of the class = full refund less a $15 processing fee. After first class date = 75% of the fee. No refunds after second class date.
