Description

For adults seeking care after trauma including neglect or abuse; physical, sexual or emotional abuse; car accidents; natural disasters; war or other trauma. Is your past trauma interfering with your daily routines? Do you find it hard to move forward after a traumatic event? During this 10-week group, participants will gain new skills to manage traumatic responses and self soothe. Members will discuss with the group leader how to create healthy boundaries with others and how to maintain those healthy boundaries. Focusing on participants’ self-esteem and promoting their self-empowerment will be a discussion point throughout the group’s duration.
