Women's Process Group - Isabel Drive

Do you find it difficult to manage your mental health? Do you struggle with managing your interpersonal skills as well as maintaining healthy relationships? Women’s Processing Group allows women to discuss their mental health in a safe environment along with a therapist and other women who have experienced similar events. Group provides women the opportunity to develop useful skills when dealing with their mental health. Group allows for the development of coping skills, boundaries, self-esteem, and social supports. Group sessions will focus on:   

  • Responding to stress
  • Creating boundaries
  • Staying grounded
  • Assertiveness
  • Coping skills
  • Building and maintaining healthy relationships
  • Improving self-esteem
  • Managing emotions
  • Developing social supports

Group members must self-identify as female. Participants cannot have active psychosis, active addiction, or active SI/HI symptoms. Individual therapy is recommended, but not required. New participants may be invited to meet with a group leader individually before starting group sessions.

Instructions

This group meets virtually on Mondays at 9:30 to 10:30 am and Tuesdays at 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Group leader is April Mandeville-Palm, LCSW. While all efforts will be made to assist you in entering a group as quickly as possible, you may need to be temporarily added to a waitlist.
