Description

The BIPOC Processing Group will provide individuals the opportunity to process their racial trauma, emotions, relationships and other stressors in a safe healing space. There are many coping skills that will be identified throughout the group's sessions that can help with the process. There will be support provided in the group, as well as a judgement-free zone. Group sessions will focus on:

  • Coping skills to practice
  • Improving self-esteem
  • Difficulty trusting others
  • Support while processing trauma

Group members must self-identify as Black, African American or other ethnicity with origins in African diaspora. Participants cannot have active psychosis, active addiction, or active SI/HI symptoms.

Current Philhaven patients should talk to their provider. For new Philhaven patients, please call (717) 851-1375 or (800) 459-7497.
