Admission process
Applicants to our respiratory care program must follow admission procedures for acceptance into York College of Pennsylvania.
The size of our class is limited. Admission to York College of Pennsylvania (or another college or university) and your respiratory care major don’t guarantee admission to our clinical program.
Our selection committee will hold interviews in March each year to select the group that will begin clinical training in June. The clinical portion of our program begins the summer following your freshman year.
If you have a grade point average (GPA) of less than 2.5 or have not completed the required freshman courses with a "C" or better grade, we’ll only consider you if space is available.
